What You’ll Find in this Reading and Phonics Worksheet Set I wrote this packet for the earliest beginning readers, as it focuses primarily on CVC words and Pre-Primer Dolch sight words. I thought this would be the perfect time to update this worksheet packet with fresh graphics, fonts, layouts, and a few new ideas! Now, I have a 5 year old boy that is ready to start sounding out words. Those Little Girls are now almost 13 and 11! sniff, sniff I printed it multiple times for my youngest girl when she was finally ready to read. I originally published this packet when my Little Girls were 6 and 4 1/2. ➡ Make sure you browse through all of the Language Arts worksheets and printable activities here at Mama’s Learning Corner! You’ll find color by code, writing and composition helps, parts of speech worksheets, and more. ** If you have purchased this packet in the past, please feel free to download the newest version! Any time you purchase a packet from me, you are entitled to lifetime updates, should there be any. I am happy to share this update with you today! That is this case, however! This Kindergarten Reading and Phonics Worksheet packet was published back in 2015, and while it wasn’t terrible (as some of my early packets are!), it definitely needed some freshening up. I never could have dreamed 10 years ago, that I would update my worksheets because the fonts were “old” or they needed an updated layout. I have found that worksheets, interestingly, are like paint colors: They become dated over time. If you have been a reader here for long at Mama’s Learning Corner, you know that I consistently update my worksheet packets that were published in the early years.
